Three measurements, and your desk stops being a guess.
This is an educational tool, not a diagnosis. It does not replace an examination. Every target below comes from OSHA’s Computer Workstations eTool — nothing here is our invention. Your measurements stay in your browser unless you choose to email them to yourself.
Sit tall, shoulders relaxed, upper arms hanging at your sides, elbows bent about 90°. Measure the floor to the underside of your elbow.
Same seated position, looking straight ahead. Measure the floor to the outer corner of your eye.
Feet flat, thighs level. Measure the floor to the crease behind your knee. This is what your seat height has to match.
Optional, but worth it: floor to the top of the surface your keyboard sits on. It's what tells you whether your desk itself needs changing.
Your numbers appear here once the first three measurements are in.
